a shoe for all seasons
so called due to a famous picture which used to hang in our living room.today in the world of shoes...
...there was a woman who questioned whether my supervisor had somehow missed a pair of shoes that she particularly wanted because of her "hurrying and slowness", which, as one can logically see would equate to the right speed, and in fact related to my dealings with someone else regarding a task with which i was less familiar with.
...also a very cute child who we spent hours with, which was slightly unnecessary - but to no ones detriment, as we were bored and there were no other customers for a good hour. so she tried out her new cutie booties more than once and in more than one colour.
...also nearly cut off the circulation to one child's feet in order that her new sandals (with insoles) didn't slip AND managed to convince the parents this was not a health danger.
...also interrogated the new girl about HOW I KNEW HER, and then realised I probably didn't.
work. such fun for them.
