The joy of working and cold tea

that wasnt a sarcastic title! actually the second part is.

I have signed up with an agency (thanks to Rachel- she found them) and they have a couple of short term assignments for me while they find me something more permanent. And the first one is working at a football match on saturday! yey!

im so looking forward to it! and we get to watch the football - i think!

ok too many exclamation marks.

so we went round to a house the other day but it was not very nice. so slightly disheartened we found the nearest cafe-bar to have a coke. Their coke machine wasn't working so we asked for tea, tentatively cos over here tea is not proper tea. He said they had English Breakfast so we were happy...until he brought it. We're not sure he has had training?! to make tea cos it was lukewarm. at best. im shuddering thinking about it. it was cold tea. not nice. we were going to complain but then he said, becos of the inconvenience of not having the coke, it was on the house.

note to self: even canadian tea is better than cold tea.
