makes me smile
1. i bumped into r today. hardly surprising cos he lives next door to the girls and i went to post a letter through their door. he almost apologised for what he was wearing. i had to contain a smile because that is the first thing i would have thought of to say, had i been confronted by him in the same sitaution. When i say he 'almost' apologised, he didnt actually say "im sorry about my attire please excuse me", but he said something about 'just nipping out to co-op' with a sheepish look and a gesture towards his clothes (bright red football shirt and old navy joggers).i hope the men are turning into real gentlemen, always ready with the manners (or apology for lack of them!). unlikely - but we still love them!
2. being ill sucks. but excuse to stay in bed and not do work is fabulous.
3. third pleasure comes from reading. anything as long as its not law connected. yes that includes cereal packets...
